NEW EP & THE BEGINNINGS OF 'THE MOST UNLUCKY BAND' - Below the Surface talks with THE HA'PENNIES
Short video introducing and interviewing London based band the Ha'pennies.
M: I saw the boys performing at the Sofar Sounds gig in North London - they literally turned someone's living room into a stage for what many people from the crowd would later call 'the best intimate gig ever'. They agreed to join me for Below the Surface recording session and since we would meet on many other occasions which would usually involve them playing songs and me taking pics or recording. What I find the most incredible, is the amount of songs they write. Every single time they'd play something 'new', to me it would sound like done record. Their latest EP, Borselino Hat Test, has been out since December and if you haven't listen to it yet, I urge you to do so. Not only it has four great songs on it but also shows how versatile their songwriting is. It should be versatile as they are not a new band... the Ha'pennies are just not known (yet) but are in every sense established and more interestingly very independent.
